With Eternal Gratitude
There are a number of individuals on this earth who have, undoubtedly, allowed me to feel as though my words were worth something. Over these past 5 months, my work has been considered to be breathtakingly refreshing, raw, incredibly relatable, magical, touching to the extent it has changed another's perspective on life. I've been called talented and that in itself sends me over the moon, simply because I did not feel as though I was. I judged my ability to create based on the lack of likes or reblogs my work would receive on Tumblr throughout the years. It wasn't until I began submitting my work to WNQ-Writers on Tumblr during the summer of 2017 that I realized other's were drawn to my words, that there are people out there who genuinely connect and feel close to my own experiences, flirting alongside my day dreams, concepts, and theories. Teary-eyed over similar sorrows.
As a self-published author, I am beyond grateful to have made it this far, solely because the odds are against us. I will continue submitting my work to various publishing companies in hopes that Initial Meeting and future projects will one day flourish in other ways. But for now, know that each and every one of you has played a part in allowing me to do what I love. Words cannot express how grateful I am and the warmth I feel knowing you have all enjoyed our Initial Meeting.
